Outside Russia, Kremlin is often mistaken with the Saint Basil cathedral, which is a church nearby Kremlin, located on the Red square. When you are there, you feel very different from any other place in the rest of the European countries; you may well get a feeling that Russia is a civilization of its own. Kremlin thus becomes more than a government building, it serves as a symbol of Russia’s uniqueness.
